Dampak Work Life Balance dan Emotional Exhaustion terhadap Job Embededdness pada Karyawan Gen Z
(Studi Kasus Toserba Yogya Ketanggungan)

This study aims to determine the impact of work-life balance and emotional exhaustion on job embeddedness among Generation Z employees at Toserba Yogya Ketanggungan located in Ketanggungan District, Brebes Regency. This research employs a quantitative method with a population of 60 employees. A sample of 60 respondents who meet the Generation Z criteria was selected. Data were collected through online questionnaires distributed via Google Forms. The results indicate that work-life balance has a positive and significant influence on job embeddedness among Generation Z employees at Toserba Yogya Ketanggungan, with a t-value for work-life balance > t-critical (5.062 > 1.671) and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Emotional exhaustion has a negative and significant influence on job embeddedness among Generation Z employees at Toserba Yogya Ketanggungan, with a t-value for emotional exhaustion > t-critical (-2.345 < 1.671) and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Work-life balance and emotional exhaustion together significantly influence job embeddedness among Generation Z employees at Toserba Yogya Ketanggungan, with an F-value < F-critical (26.909 < 3.16) at a significance level of 0.05. The contribution of work-life balance and emotional exhaustion to job embeddedness among Generation Z employees at Toserba Yogya Ketanggungan is 48.6%, with the remaining 51.4% influenced by other factors.
