Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the work environment and work motivation on employee job satisfaction at KSO Mitra Kencana Virginia Park Makassar, both partially and simultaneously. A quantitative associative approach was employed using data collected from 35 respondents selected through a saturated sampling technique. Data were obtained through Likert-scale questionnaires, observations, and interviews, and analyzed using multiple linear regression with classical assumption tests, t-tests, and F-tests. The work environment was measured through physical and non-physical conditions, while work motivation was assessed based on the needs for achievement, affiliation, and power. The findings indicate that both the work environment and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction, with work motivation emerging as the dominant factor. Simultaneously, both variables significantly contribute to improving job satisfaction, demonstrating that a supportive work environment combined with high work motivation enhances employee satisfaction. The study recommends that management improve workplace facilities, provide fair incentives, recognize employee achievements, and strengthen motivational programs to increase job satisfaction, employee loyalty, and organizational performance.
